Kate Slevin’s set pieces caused the visitors’ problems initially with Galway netting two goals following inviting corner kicks from the promising teenager.

Chloe Moloney connected with Slevin’s delivery enabling Lynsey McKey to rifle Galway ahead in the 11th minute.

A second arrived on the quarter hour mark with Savannah McCarthy heading the ball into the back of the Treaty net.

Sinéad Donovan, brilliant in an attacking midfield role, crafted an opportunity for Shauna Brennan, who scored.

Then Rachel Kearns notched her sixth goal in four games after McKey provided a tidy assist.

Treaty grabbed a consolation in the 77th minute courtesy of substitute Áine Walsh.

Galway face a very interesting encounter away to Wexford Youths at Ferrycarrig Park next Saturday.
